Almost Done

The completion of the RPM Challenge project is close to be done in 2 weeks!!!....we're pressing this weekend....working hard , F. Roman in Barcelona and me here...
I'll press the CD once all the pieces have arrived from Europe.....voila....
I cannot express the amazing feeling of elation I feel when I think of what we're doing. And that I couldn't have envisioned it and take to reality with that amazing friend I have....38 years of laughter and companionship...
these are indeed our "sounds postcards" sharing our ideas over the cyberspace and with the help of technology making it a reality.....wild times we live in!!!!

a Solution....???

I have come with an idea that could save the day when it comes to the recording issue of the new tunes. And that is, to have the gig of the 18th of March recorded on a Multitrack System by the same engineer. The Whole thing is a complete gamble, but, what can I do??.
Last rehearsal was productive, and damn! those tunes sounded great, I wish I could have the extra cash to afford the studio time and post production expenses!!!!
The thing is, if the gig goes well, and the recording is well done, I might as well have a good, very good recording of new pieces in front of an audience. (or not!)That in itself is worth a try........
so we'll see.....
I other departments, advancing in the writing and compositions for the ROMAN[us] Project has proven slow, I found my self lacking creativity and stuck with silly ideas for piece and my lack of manouvering inside softwares...it's frustrating me!!!
